I design the range for knitters looking for a stress-free way to build on their current knitting skills and write the patterns in my 'Tutorial Style'. They have lots of detail \u2013 you really can\u2019t get lost!\r\n\r\nThe knitting pattern guides you through knitting your first pretty lace garment without any stress. You will need to know how to Knit well, but really the cowl is just a long tube, knitted round and round on circular needles. Everything else, from using circular needles, to cast-on and joining in the round, to washing and blocking after casting off is covered in the knitting pattern, both in words and through links to videos.\u00a0The pattern is written with separate sections for each step of the knitting process, so you'll know exactly where you are at all times. There are tick-lists for tracking every<\/em> row and links to YouTube videos when needed.\r\n\r\nThe lace looks beautiful and is a very easy lace to knit, even though it appears to be quite complicated. It was the first lace that I learned to knit - long ago! There is no shaping to worry about and you will use only 'Knit\u2019; \u2018Knit 2 together\u2019; \u2018Slip, slip, knit\u2019 and \u2018yarn-overs\u2019 - all explained or shown to you in the written pattern. The Cowl<\/h3>\r\nThe Dream catcher Cowl is a lightweight cowl, perfect for those cooler spring or Autumn days. Designed to be worn loosely around the neck as an accessory to complete an outfit, it can also be pulled up above the collar of a coat on chillier days, or worn folded double for more warmth. You will need between 50 to 100 grams, (200 to 400 metres), of fingering\/4 Ply yarn - depending on how long you want the cowl to be. Any fingering\/4 ply yarn will work well for this cowl, but I love how the cowl knits up in my Merino Tencel range - It is soft, drapey and has a beautiful sheen.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nI would love to see how your cowl works out and to know that you are pleased with it.
