They have lots of detail \u2013 you really can\u2019t get lost!\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPart of my Tutorial style knitting pattern range for knitters eager to gain knitting skills and techniques in a stress free-way, the \u2018Tram Tracks Cowl<\/em>\u2019 is designed for good beginner knitters eager to knit their first garment \u2018in the round\u2019 \u2013 without the stress!\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe knitting pattern guides you through knitting your first patterned garment without any stress. You will need to know how to Knit well, but really the cowl is just a long tube, knitted round and round on circular needles. Everything is covered, from using circular needles to cast-on and joining in the round to washing and blocking after casting off is covered in the knitting pattern, both in words and through links to videos.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe pattern has separate sections for each step of the knitting process, so you'll know exactly where you are at all times. There are tick-lists for tracking every<\/em> row and links to YouTube videos when needed.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nDesigned for Mille R\u00eaves en Laine by my much loved but sadly departed friend, Gillian Cooper. The Cowl<\/h3>\r\nThe Tram Tracks Cowl is a DK weight cowl which makes it a warm cowl. Designed to be worn ruffled around the neck, you can adapt the length of the cowl so that you can pull it up around your face, (as seen in the photograph), or even to pull it up over your head like a snood.\u00a0 You will need between approx 100g or around 230 Metres for the normal length cowl - more if you want to make it longer. There is no shaping to worry about and you only need to know how to knit and purl, Everything else is thoroughly explained or shown to you in the written pattern.\r\n\r\nThe shape of the cowl is just a long tube, knitted round and round on circular needles \u2013 you will be knitting a form of ribbing, but with a twisted, (mock cable) stich added in occasionally.\r\n\r\nEach new section of knitting has its own space in the written pattern, with tick-lists for tracking progress.\r\n\r\nI would love to see how your cowl works out and to know that you are pleased with it.
