Each skein is hand-dyed with grey-toned mid to deep blues. BFL is very soft on the skin, yet because of the fleece having a long staple length, it's hard wearing and naturally resistant to pilling and so perfect for socks - no need for nylon!<\/em>\r\n\r\n100% BFL Wool \u2018Sailor Blue\u2019 is a sumptuous, smooth, soft, yet strong wool. Of course, my 100% BFL Wool \u2018Sailor Blue\u2019 is also great for larger garments and knits up beautifully for shawls, cowls, hats, mittens and scarves or anything else you may dream of. All of my BFL is from small, well-managed British farms. These farms adhere to high animal welfare standards. It's spun in British mills.\r\n\r\nEven my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project.\r\n
