This 100% BFL Wool \u2018Lavender Field\u2019 is a Fingering\/4 Ply wool, spun with a twist. <\/em>It\u2019s hand-dyed, by me, in my home studio near Angoul\u00eame, France. My 100% BFL Wool \u2018Lavender Field\u2019 is a variegated dye type, in lavender, purple and green tones. BFL wool is very soft on the skin, yet because the fleece has a long staple length, it’s hard wearing and naturally resistant to pilling – so perfect for socks – no need for nylon!<\/em><\/p>\n My 100% BFL Wool \u2018Lavender Field\u2019 is a sumptuous, soft, yet strong yarn. Of course, my 100% BFL Wool \u2018Lavender Field\u2019 is great for knitting socks, but it’s also great for larger garments and knits up beautifully for shawls, cowls, hats, mittens and scarves. All of my BFL is from small, well-managed British farms. These farms adhere to high animal welfare standards. The wool is spun in British mills.<\/p>\n Please Note: Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project.<\/p>\n I prioritise the quality of my hand-dyeing process, check carefully for tangles and take care that photographs represent the actual product as closely as possible.
