This MCN \u2018Rock Pool’ is a blend of merino wool, cashmere fibres and nylon. It\u2019s a fingering\/4 Ply yarn, hand-dyed in my home studio in France. My MCN in \u2018Rock Pool\u2019 is a variegated dye-type in tones of sea greens, finished with added speckles of rust, pinks and deep greens to represent the life in rock pools. MCN is extremely soft on the skin.<\/p>\n
This MCN \u2018Rock Pool’ is a luxurious, smooth, soft yarn that’s perfect for larger garments and knits up beautifully for shawls, cowls, hats, and scarves. I personally would not knit socks with this yarn, as I find it’s not a hard-wearing enough blend. Use it to create luxuriously soft items.
\nAll of my Merino is from well-managed farms that DO NOT inflict mulesing on their sheep.<\/p>\n
Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 4-5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project.<\/p>\n
