This MCN \u2018Summer Sunset\u2019 is a blend of merino wool, cashmere fibres and nylon. It\u2019s a fingering\/4 Ply yarn, hand-dyed in my home studio in France. Each skein is hand-dyed in a subtle, variegated blend of pinks, oranges and yellows. MCN is extremely soft on the skin.<\/p>\n
This MCN \u2018Summer Sunset\u2019 is a sumptuous, smooth, soft, that’s perfect for larger garments and knits up beautifully for shawls, cowls, hats, and scarves. I personally would not knit socks with this yarn as I find it’s not a hard-wearing enough blend. Use it to create luxuriously soft items. All of my Merino is from well-managed farms that DO NOT inflict mulesing on their sheep.<\/p>\n
Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 4-5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project.<\/p>\n
I prioritise the quality of my hand-dyeing process, check carefully for tangles, take care that the photographs you see are representative of the real product, and think about what I, as an avid knitter, would like to receive after placing an order with a small business.
