It\u2019s a fingering\/4 Ply yarn. This Merino\/Nylon \u2018Swithland\u2019 was hand-dyed in my home studio in France. Each skein is a variegated blend of slate greys, with splashes of deep purple. A lovely, soft yet strong yarn.\r\n\r\nThis Merino\/Nylon \u2018Swithland\u2019 is a sumptuous, smooth, soft yarn that's perfect for larger garments and knits up beautifully for socks, mittens, gloves, shawls, cowls, hats, and scarves. All of my Merino is from well-managed farms that DO NOT inflict mulesing on their sheep.\r\n\r\nEven my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 4-5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project. If you need a larger quantity of skeins than I have in the shop, please ask me to custom dye a new batch for you.\r\n
