This BFL Wool\/Nylon \u2018Serenity\u2019 is a Fingering\/4 Ply wool, hand-dyed in my home studio near Angoul\u00eame, France. My BFL Wool\/Nylon \u2018Serenity\u2019 is hand dyed in peaceful, serene blues: from very pale blues to delicate turquoise tones and slightly lilac toned blues.<\/p>\n
BFL is very soft on the skin, yet because the fleece has a long staple length, it’s hard wearing and naturally resistant to pilling. It\u2019s a sumptuous, smooth, soft, yet strong yarn – so perfect for socks<\/em>! Of course, my BFL Wool\/Nylon \u2018Serenity\u2019 is also great for larger garments and knits up beautifully for shawls, cowls, hats, mittens and scarves.<\/p>\n Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project.<\/p>\n All of my BFL is from small, well-managed British farms. These farms adhere to high animal welfare standards.
