MCN ‘Purple Party’ is a blend of merino wool, cashmere fibres and nylon. It\u2019s a fingering\/4 Ply yarn. Each skein is a semi-solid blend of purple tones. MCN ‘Purple Party’ makes a stunning statement used in a single skein project, but I would use it in a 2 colour project, (Such as ‘Avant L’orage’), where the other colour is a contrasting or neutral colour. My suggested combination would be to use ‘Lavender Days’ with ‘Purple party’.\u00a0This MCN is extremely soft on the skin and carefully hand-dyed in my home studio in France.<\/p>\n
MCN ‘Purple Party\u2019 is a sumptuous, smooth, soft yarn that’s perfect for larger garments and knits up beautifully for shawls, cowls, hats, and scarves. I personally would not knit socks with this yarn, as I don’t find it a hard-wearing enough blend. Use it to create luxuriously soft items instead. All of my Merino is from well-managed farms that DO NOT inflict mulesing on their sheep.<\/a><\/p>\n Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 4-5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods.
