MCN ‘Hydrangea’ is a blend of merino wool, cashmere fibres and nylon. It\u2019s a fingering\/4 Ply yarn. Each skein is a subtly changing semi-solid dye type in a blend of blue and grey\/blue tones, replicating the range of deep to faded petals of blue hydrangeas. MCN ‘Hydrangea’ would make a beautiful 1 skein project where it would be seen alone in all its subtle glory. This MCN is extremely soft on the skin and carefully hand-dyed in my home studio in France.<\/p>\n
MCN ‘Hydrangea’ is a sumptuous, smooth, soft yarn that’s perfect for larger garments and knits up beautifully for shawls, cowls, hats, and scarves. I personally would not knit socks with this yarn, as I don’t find it a hard-wearing enough blend. Use it to create luxuriously soft items instead. All of my Merino is from well-managed farms that DO NOT inflict mulesing on their sheep.<\/a><\/p>\n Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 4-5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods.
