This 100% BFL Wool ‘Deauville’ is a Fingering\/4 Ply wool\/sock wool, hand-dyed in my home studio near Angoul\u00eame, France. BFL is very soft on the skin, yet because the fleece has a long staple length, it’s hard wearing and naturally resistant to pilling – so perfect for socks – no need for nylon!<\/em> My 100% BFL Wool ‘Deauville’ is a sumptuous, smooth, soft, yet strong yarn that’s perfect for socks! Of course, my 100% BFL Wool \u2018Deauville’ is also great for larger garments and knits up beautifully for shawls, cowls, hats, mittens and scarves.<\/p>\n All of my BFL is from small, well-managed British farms. These farms adhere to high animal welfare standards. It’s spun in British mills.<\/p>\n Please note: Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project.<\/p>\n I prioritise the quality of my hand-dyeing process, check carefully for tangles.
