100% BFL wool in 'Splash!'

100% BFL wool in 'Splash!' is hand-dyed in my home studio near Angouleme, France. Each skein is hand-dyed by splashing liquid dye solution directly onto the beautiful, creamy bare wool. BFL is very soft on the skin, yet because of the fleece having a long staple length, it's hard wearing and naturally resistant to pilling. No need for nylon!

I hand-dye most of my colourways in unique, one-of-a-kind batches. Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project. If you need a larger quantity of skeins than I have in the shop, please ask me to custom dye a new batch for you.

This 100% BFL wool in 'Splash!' is a sumptuous, smooth, soft, yet strong yarn that's perfect for socks. Of course, my 100% BFL Wool in 'Splash!' is also great for larger garments and knits up beautifully for shawls, cowls, mittens and scarves. All of my BFL is from small, well-managed British farms. These farms adhere to high animal welfare standards and spun in British mills.
