Merino Sparkle in 'Sea Dreams'

Merino Sparkle in 'Sea Dreams' is hand-dyed in my home-studio deep in the countryside near Angouleme, France. Hand-dyed in a variegated style, each skein is a subtle, tonal mix of sea blues and green . My Merino Sparkle has silver stellina spun into it - to add that touch of glamour or for a party feel. A soft, yet strong yarn, perfect for socks, shawls, cowls, scarves and larger garments! Merino is exceptionally soft on the skin.

This Merino Sparkle in 'Sea Dreams' is a blend of 75% Merino, 20% Nylon and 5% Silver Stellina. It’s a very soft, yet strong yarn, which is spun with a twist to include the 5% Stellina; this gives the yarn that lovely silver shimmer and is particularly beautiful for this dye colour.. It has excellent stitch definition when knitted up - perfect for any special garment, shawl, cowl, scarf, hat or socks that would benefit from the added twinkle of silver. As with all of my Super-wash Merino wool, this Merino Sparkle in 'Sea Dreams' is from a mill that sources mulesing-free fleeces from Argentina, Uruguay and Europe. It’s sourced from farms of varying sizes, including small farms.
